Who are your lessons for?

Our lessons are designed for children, teens, and adults. We work with beginners, intermediate students, and more experienced musicians looking to grow, refine skills, or stay inspired.

How do online music lessons work?

Lessons take place live over Zoom with one of our instructors. Students meet with their teacher at the scheduled time and receive personalized instruction, feedback, guidance, and practice direction just as they would in a traditional private lesson setting.

Do online lessons really work?

Yes. Online lessons are highly effective when students have a good setup, a reliable connection, and a willingness to engage consistently. Many students appreciate the convenience, comfort, and flexibility of learning from home.

How do I get started?

Getting started is easy. You can book a lesson directly through our website by choosing either:

By Instructor

Missed lessons are non-refundable. We encourage students to attend consistently and communicate as early as possible if a scheduling issue comes up.

What happens if the instructor misses a lesson?

In the rare event that an instructor misses a scheduled lesson, the student will receive either a full refund for that lesson or the option to reschedule.

What do I need for online lessons?

Students should have:

  • a stable internet connection

  • a webcam

  • a microphone and speakers (built-in with most devices) or headphones

  • a compatible device such as a laptop, desktop, tablet, or smartphone

  • the current version of the Zoom app installed

For the best experience, we recommend using a laptop or desktop computer whenever possible.

Do I need Zoom?

Yes. Lessons are conducted on Zoom, so students should have the current version of the Zoom Workspace app installed before the lesson begins.

Do parents need to be present?

That depends on the age and independence of the student. Younger children often benefit from a parent nearby, especially at the beginning. Older students and adults typically do well independently. In any case, a supportive home environment is always helpful.

Will I receive lesson notes or materials?

In most cases, yes. Depending on the instructor and lesson format, students will receive lesson notes, assignments, links, files, or other materials to help support practice between lessons.

How often should I take lessons?

That depends on the student’s goals, age, schedule, and level of commitment. In general, weekly lessons tend to provide the best momentum and consistency. Flex and twice-monthly options can also work well for students needing more schedule flexibility.

How quickly will I make progress?

Progress varies from student to student and depends on consistency, preparation, practice habits, lesson attendance, and engagement. Our instructors are committed to providing guidance, encouragement, and high-quality instruction, but musical growth is a process and looks different for everyone.

Can adults take lessons too?

Absolutely. We welcome adult students at all stages, whether you are starting for the first time, returning after years away, or pursuing personal growth and enjoyment through music.

Do you offer lessons for beginners?

Yes. Beginners are very welcome. We love helping students build strong foundations in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Can I switch instructors later?

In most cases, yes. Sometimes a different teaching style, schedule, or personality fit can be helpful, and we’re happy to help make adjustments when possible.

How do payments work?

Payment is due at the time of booking. Subscription plans are processed through automatic payment.

Do you send reminders or updates by email?

Yes. By booking with La Di Da Lessons, you agree to receive important service-related emails such as lesson reminders, scheduling updates, and studio notices. You may also occasionally receive promotional emails or announcements, and you can unsubscribe from promotional messages at any time.
