Terms of Service

Welcome to La Di Da Lessons. We’re so glad you’re here. These Terms of Service are intended to keep things clear, fair, and running smoothly for everyone. By booking a lesson or enrolling in a subscription, you agree to the terms below. If the student is under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian agrees to these terms on the student’s behalf.
1. Agreement Overview
These Terms of Service supersede all prior lesson-related agreements, policies, and understandings with La Di Da Lessons. By booking lessons with us, the student or parent/legal guardian agrees to the terms outlined below.
La Di Da Lessons reserves the right to suspend or terminate services if these terms are violated.
2. Lesson Types and Scheduling Options
Lessons are available in the following durations: 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 60 minutes, 75 minutes, and 90 minutes.
Students may book lessons in the following ways:
By Instructor
Choose a preferred instructor, then select from that instructor’s available instruments, dates, and times.
By Instrument
Choose an instrument first, then book with a qualified instructor based on availability and scheduling compatibility.
We also offer discounted subscription plans:
Weekly Progress — 4 lessons per month
Flex Progress — 3 lessons per month
Twice-Monthly — 2 lessons per month
Subscription plans may be canceled at any time with 30 days’ written notice sent to chris@ladidalessons.com.
3. Punctuality
Students are expected to attend lessons on time. If a student arrives late, the lesson will still end at the originally scheduled time. Time missed due to late arrival cannot be made up or refunded.
4. Rescheduling and Cancellations
Students may reschedule a lesson when at least 48 hours’ notice is provided.
Rescheduled lessons must take place within the same calendar week as the original lesson, subject to instructor availability. Lessons not rescheduled within that timeframe, as well as lessons canceled by the student, are non-refundable and non-transferable.
5. Missed Lessons
Student Absence
Missed lessons are non-refundable, regardless of the reason for absence.
Instructor Absence
If an instructor misses a scheduled lesson, the student will receive either a full refund for that lesson or the option to reschedule, if mutually agreed upon.
6. Payment Terms
Payment in full is required at the time of booking.
Subscription plans require enrollment in our automatic payment system. Subscription plans may be canceled at any time with 30 days’ written notice.
If a payment is declined or remains unpaid, La Di Da Lessons reserves the right to cancel the lesson or release the reserved lesson time.
7. Mailing List and Communications
By booking with La Di Da Lessons, you agree to receive important service-related communications, including scheduling updates, lesson reminders, and account notices.
You may also occasionally receive promotional emails, studio updates, or special announcements. You may unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in those emails or by contacting us directly.
8. Code of Conduct
We are committed to creating a positive, respectful, and encouraging learning environment.
Students are expected to treat instructors with respect during all lessons. Disruptive, disrespectful, threatening, inappropriate, or unsafe behavior may result in removal from a lesson, suspension of services, or termination of services without refund, at the sole discretion of La Di Da Lessons.
9. Technical Requirements
Students are responsible for having the technology needed to participate successfully in online lessons. This includes:
a stable internet connection
a webcam (built-in or external)
a microphone and speakers or headphones
a compatible device such as a laptop, desktop computer, tablet, or smartphone
the current version of the Zoom app installed
For the best experience, we recommend using a laptop or desktop computer whenever possible.

10. Limitation of Liability
La Di Da Lessons is not responsible for lesson interruptions or technical difficulties caused by third-party platforms, device malfunction, software issues, or internet outages on the student’s end.
11. Media Release
From time to time, La Di Da Lessons may request permission to use lesson recordings, screenshots, testimonials, or other media for training or promotional purposes. Any such use will always be addressed separately and will require additional consent where applicable.
12. Results Disclaimer
Musical progress depends on many factors, including attendance, preparation, practice habits, participation, and consistency. While we are committed to providing high-quality instruction and encouragement, La Di Da Lessons does not guarantee any specific musical outcome or rate of progress.
