Student Success Stories

Every student’s musical journey is different, and that’s exactly what makes these stories so special. From first chords and first songs to performances, songwriting, confidence breakthroughs, and lifelong creativity, our students remind us why personalized music lessons matter. These are just a few of the La Di Da Lessons students who have taken their musical growth beyond the lesson room and into real life.

Our students take lessons in guitar, piano, voice, drums, ukulele, violin, viola, and bass. Explore our online music lessons or view our music lesson pricing and plans to find the right option for your family.

Mia

Mia’s musical journey is a beautiful example of how young students can grow with consistent encouragement and the right teacher-student connection. Mia began lessons with La Di Da Lessons at a young age and, over the past two and a half years, has made tremendous progress as both a guitarist and singer. Now seven years old, she has already delighted audiences at local open mics, where her confidence, personality, and love of music shine through. With strong support from her parents, Luis and Patricia, Mia continues to grow into a joyful, expressive young performer—and we couldn’t be prouder to be part of her story.

Tristan

Tristan’s story is a wonderful example of how online music lessons can support steady, meaningful growth for a motivated student. At 15, Tristan has become a confident guitar and ukulele player, developing not only solid technique but also the ability to improvise and express himself musically. His thoughtful personality, focus, and natural curiosity come through in his lessons and performances, and his family’s strong support has helped him continue progressing wherever life takes them—from Oregon to Hawaii and beyond. Tristan’s journey reflects the heart of La Di Da Lessons: personalized instruction, consistent encouragement, and real musical growth over time.

Owen

Owen started his musical journey with us at age 14. His love of playing guitar and singing was further enhanced by strong practice habits and a very encouraging household.

Since his days with La Di Da, Owen has been making music in various bands and on his own. And while he can perform a wide array of covers, he has also written many of his own songs and offers an impassioned performance every time he plays them.

Owen now lives in Portland Oregon, where he continues to write and perform. He has played original music as part of Up and Over, a motivational group that uses performance and personal stories to help inspire young people struggling to overcome obstacles. Up and Over members travel to schools in Oregon and Washington.

Rock on, Owen!

Samantha

La Di Da helped Samantha hone her guitar skills between the ages of 14 and 17. During that time, she helped us with the recording of our namesake song "La Di Da" by singing the lead and background vocals in the studio.

Samantha graduated from USC in 2022 and continues to write and perform her own original music. You can find her music on all the major music platforms.

We are so proud of her!
