Jess is a graduate of New York University with a degree in Songwriting. She has also had over ten years of formal vocal training in various styles including jazz, theatre, and classical. Subsequently, and wanting to pass her skills on to others, she has spent the last decade training others to become great vocalists as well. Jess combines vocal training, songwriting experience, instrumental skill, and a warm sense of humor to create lessons that feel creative, supportive, and impactful. Her background makes her especially helpful for students who want to sing, accompany themselves, write songs, or build confidence as expressive musicians. Jess's sense of humor and accessibility paired with her extensive musical knowledge makes her a creative, fun, and impactful educator.
